CAD Technician Benefits – Free On-Site Parking, Accessible Via Public Transport, Cooking Facilities, Supportive Team, Excellent Working Environment Title – CAD Technician Hours – 8am-5pm Mon-Thurs & 8am-4.30pm Fridays Salary - £35,000-£45,000pa DOE Location – Scunthorpe Role – Permanent This is an exciting opportunity for the successful CAD Technician to work for an engineering manufacturer who have been established over 60 years and have gained themselves a reputation for excellence within that time, due to a steady increase in orders and design thereof they are now looking to recruit a CAD Technician to join the existing design team where duties will include: * Managing several projects at any one time * Assisting the design office manager * Manage CAD/Drawing standards. * Carry out drawings in 2D, 3D and Inventor Software * Developing and maintaining (bill of materials) BOM creation, publishing Drawings etc. * General Software troubleshooting and advice It is expected that the successful CAD Technician will have experience of working in a CAD Technician role previously, have the ability to design from scratch and have working knowledge of Inventor. * Designing with Inventor * Design in both 2D and 3D * Microsoft office software * Working with Word and Excel * Strong communication skills * Comfortable managing several projects at any one time * Attending site visits and meetings * Experience of steel sections CAD Technician Benefits – Free On-Site Parking, Accessible Via Public Transport, Cooking Facilities, Supportive Team, Excellent Working Environment Title – CAD Technician Hours – 8am-5pm Mon-Thurs & 8am-4.30pm Fridays Salary - £35,000-£45,000pa DOE Location – Scunthorpe Role – Permanent Major Recruitment act as an Employment Agency for permanent roles and Employment Business for temporary opportunities
