Cedar is currently partnered with a global Media business to support with the recruitment of an Interim Finance Manager based in Central London. This role is offered on a 12-month, fixed-term contract basis with an annual salary of £60,000 - £63,000 benefits. The Company A global leader within the Media & Entertainment industry. The Role As an Interim Finance Manager, your duties will include: Preparing annual budgets and monthly forecasts to align with company objectives. Delivering timely management accounts, financial statements, and variance analyses, adhering to US GAAP. Handling complex transactions and reconciliations, including revenue, royalty expenses, and advance payables. Ensuring robust financial controls, following GAAP/IFRS and industry-specific accounting standards. Preparing UK GAAP-compliant statutory accounts with US GAAP reconciliation. Enhancing financial systems and reporting capabilities, leveraging technology to boost efficiency. Working with licensing, royalties, and A&R to drive financial insights and support business initiatives. Your Profile You will ideally have: A formal accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA/CIMA/CA). Strong foundation in financial accounting, analysis, planning, and forecasting. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. While not essential, previous experience within the Media / Entertainment industry and/or knowledge of royalties is highly advantageous. The salary of £60,000 - £63,000 per year represents a fair value, or logical increase on your previous salary or day rate. Availability to start immediately or at short notice.
