FULL-TIME POSITION It takes an energetic and entrepreneurial spirit to work with Van Peterson. As we are in an exciting period of growth, we are looking for someone who is ready to dive in and have a direct impact on sales growth and development. The Ecommerce Assistant position is an all-rounder role in a growing jewellery business. The selected candidate will work primarily across digital, stock management, and sales operations. We ask that all candidates have a reasonable knowledge of Photoshop. This varied role is based in our brand new showroom located at 47 Sloane Avenue, Chelsea. The successful candidate will report to Marta our E-Commerce Assistant. This is an in-house e-commerce assistant, requiring you to travel to the office in Chelsea. Responsibilities E-commerce: Taking charge of the online order despatch process, from invoicing and packaging to shipping Tracking orders to make sure they have arrived safely Inventory management on the website and in-house stock levels Handling customer service emails and phone calls Uploading new products to the website and writing copy/ product descriptions Working with the director on daily social media Light photo editing and graphic design for e-commerce banners, social media, POS collateral, and booklets Arranging in-house photo shoots Stock and Supplier Management: Coordinating with vendors to track and maintain stock levels Overseeing atelier and repair projects with local suppliers Fulfilling orders for Wholesale clientele in a timely manner Liaising with stockists to identify their needs Organising shipments in line with client requests Light jewellery making (don’t worry; you will learn if you don’t know already!) Shop & Sales: Maintaining the shop/ office to a high standard (cleaning and organising are required) Acting as the first point of contact for retail and business customers Ensuring that the showroom is merchandised properly, rotating displays every couple of weeks Managing and reordering showroom supplies Booking couriers and assisting in answering the office phone Processing orders, creating invoices, and chasing payments General office upkeep & ad hoc duties Skills and Experience Required: Experience in fashion retail or a wholesale environment Photoshop knowledge Basic Excel knowledge Strong interpersonal skills Good telephone manner Polite, friendly, and diplomatic manner Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally Ability to prioritize tasks and excellent attention to detail Ability to work on a wide range of projects to help the overall growth of the business Note: This job may require you to work occasional Saturdays and Sundays Salary: £25k per annum Application Please apply with a CV and cover letter via the application form.
