JOB PURPOSE
Additional training will be given to the successful candidate to expand Measurement Skills.
The starting position is for a Quality Inspector. We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join a growing precision engineering group which operates multi-axis CNC & Manual Machining workshops.
The ideal candidate will preferably have experience in mechanical engineering and have a good knowledge with the ability to use precision measuring equipment.
Career opportunity for the right candidate as the initial role expands into all areas of Quality Control.
They should also have good math’s and technical skills and be responsible and trustworthy.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
• Be self-motivating and driven.
• Have proven experience as a Quality Inspector or relevant role.
• A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
• Familiar with quality measuring equipment.
• Knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
• Certification of quality control is advantageous; City and Guilds or IQA.
• Communication and people skills.
• Good work ethic.
INITIAL DUTIES:
• The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet company requirements and are manufactured according to specifications. Their duties include measuring components, carry out inspection and tests to identify defects and comparing products against specification to ensure everything meets our company’s high standards before leaving the manufacturing line.
• Patrol Inspections.
• First off inspection.
• Inspection of incoming goods.
• Sample inspection reports
