As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people! Our 48 Heath Road residential service in Holmewood is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. At 48 Heath Road we specialise in supporting people who have learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviours. We work primarily with younger adults who have complex needs and a primary diagnosis of learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy or severe challenging behaviours. The overarching aim of our home is to provide high quality, responsive and flexible individual support, care and/or treatment programmes that are designed to meet the needs and wishes of each person we support. We very much welcome friends and family members visiting the home at any time and genuinely believe in an “open door” policy. Everyone is supported to live a full and active life and empowered to make informed choices.
