Percival are excited to be working with The Landmark Trust to help them recruit for a Area Manager to join their team. This role will actively manage a team of Property Managers across central region including Central Wales and Shropshire, South Wales, West Midlands, Cotswolds, East Midlands, East Norfolk and Suffolk, London and Kent. The Landmark Trust is one of Britain’s leading heritage conservation charities with over 200 historic holiday properties across England, Scotland, Wales, the Channel Islands and Italy. With the help of their supporters, they save historic buildings in danger of being lost forever via skilled craftspeople and apprentices, they restore these 'Landmarks', making them available for all to enjoy with numerous open days and engagement with their communities ensuring that people can learn about and experience these extraordinary places. Job Title: Area Manager Contract: Full-time Salary: £40,000 per annum Based: Home Based within commutable distance to your area. The post holder will lead, motivate, and develop property managers in your area, as well as a large team of property staff, to meet our strategic and operational aims. You will be responsible for the planning and management of your operations budget, producing departmental budget reports as required. You will plan your schedule to allow for regular visits to the teams and properties in your area, ensuring a sound knowledge of the condition of the buildings and gardens in your care. You will have knowledge of the self-catering holiday sector, its audiences, challenges, and Opportunities with a clear understanding of the legislative and operational requirements of the British self-catering holidays business. You will need to be a confident driver with access to a car and able to travel regularly across the regions, with occasional travel to their Head Office in Maidenhead and elsewhere in the country.
