1:1 Support Assistant

Pay: starting from £95.29 umbrella (PAYE Option Available) Hours: 08:30-15:30 Type: Monday - Friday Role: Teaching Assistant we are looking for experienced teaching assistants who enjoy working role calls for supporting pupils across a varied range of additional needs. You will be working at our lovely all aged special primary school supporting pupils from the ages of 4-16 who all have a diagnosis of Autism and all pupils have an EHCP. Responsibilities : - You will monitor and record the pupils progress, providing regular feedback to teachers, parents, SENCO & outside agencies who provide support for the pupil and family. - Aid with personal care tasks, to ensure the pupils comfort and well-being. - Provide 1:1 support and use appropriate communication methods, including non-verbal communication tools, to interact effectively with your pupil. Requirements : - Must have experience supporting children with special needs - Level 2 or 3 Teaching assistant qualification - Must have school experience - Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one ( £45.21) We look forward hearing from you
