Job Title: Operations Assistant - FLT Driver

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm
Job Overview:
Our client based in Heysham is seeking a proactive and reliable Operations Assistant with a valid FLT (Forklift Truck) license to join their team. The successful candidate will support daily operations, ensuring efficient warehouse functions, and assisting with general site duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a forklift truck for loading, unloading, and moving materials within the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory management, stock control, and organization of the warehouse.
- Support the team with general operational tasks, including packing, shipping, and receiving goods.
- Perform routine equipment checks and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Requirements:
- Valid FLT license (essential).
- Previous experience in a warehouse or operational environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to health and safety regulations.
