SEND Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support) Location: Primary School near Lofthouse. Start Date: After October Half-Term Full-Time, Long-Term, Temporary Position Pay: From £96 per day (dependent on experience) PK Education is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term temporary position at a primary school near Lofthouse. The role will involve providing 1:1 support to a Year 1 with Autism. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with the pupil outside of the mainstream classroom, delivering tailored support to meet their specific learning and developmental needs. - Develop and implement engaging activities to support their educational progress, emotional well-being, and social development. - Assist with managing the pupil’s behaviour and emotional regulation in a patient and nurturing manner. - Collaborate with teaching staff, SENCOs, and other professionals to create an inclusive learning plan for the child. - Support the child with personal care routines.
