Sen Teacher - Welcoming School in Oxfordshire

A School in Wheatley is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our outstanding team. This is a permanent, full-time role starting in January 2025. We are committed to providing exceptional education and support to our pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with ASD and Communication and Interaction needs. Job Summary As a Sen Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating a successful learning environment for a group of pupils. You will develop and implement specialist interventions and strategies to support their SEN needs, ensuring positive outcomes and fostering mainstream integration opportunities. Location: Oxfordshire School: Outstanding School Start Date: January 2025 Grade: MPS or Upper Pay Scale Hours: Full-time Key Responsibilities * Leadership and Development: Work with colleagues to lead the development of a bespoke provision for pupils with SEN needs. * Interventions and Planning: Oversee the planning and provision of specialist ASD/ Communication and Interaction interventions across the whole school. * Collaboration: Direct the work of the Teaching Assistant, and liaise with the SENCO, Trust Lead SRP Teachers, and Trust Director of SEN. * Professional Development: Provide formal and informal training, development, and support to school staff to enhance their understanding and strategies for supporting SEN pupils. * Individualized Curriculum: Plan and implement a highly individualized curriculum for pupils with specific SEN needs. * External Collaboration: Work closely with external professionals to deliver and monitor effective specialist interventions. * Monitoring and Communication: Implement tracking processes to monitor key data for pupils in the provision and promote positive communication with parents.
