We have over 165 employees that we are proud to have represent us, operating from our offices in Manchester, Belfast, Dublin, and Glasgow. As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our team by recruiting several experienced Process Consultants who have experience of thermal process technologies and project management to be based from our Stockport or Glasgow offices, with hybrid working. We are looking for: · a good Masters degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering; · be a Chartered Engineer, or actively working towards; · have experience in and detailed technical knowledge of either waste processing, carbon capture, hydrogen development, SAF or waste gasification. · experience with process plant concept design development, FEED studies, and detailed process plant system design; · prior experience of process simulation using MATLAB, Simulink, HYSYS, Aspen Plus or similar; · ability to prepare and review typical process plant documentation, i.e., heat & mass balances, PFDs, P&IDs, basis of design documents, process calculations etc. · prior experience with the timely production of high-quality scientific models, professional technical reports, and other documentation for both external client and internal use; · the ability and willingness to travel both in the UK, Ireland and occasionally further overseas for construction site monitoring visits, inspections etc. What you can expect from us: A competitive salary with leading bonus scheme of up to 20% of salary Company electrical vehicle leasing scheme Shares purchase option after 12 month's service Private medical & life assurance Cycle to work scheme Team and company social events Milestone scheme celebrating years spent as part of the Fichtner team
