The core work of the Finance Tribe is about building and supporting a Finance systems architecture for a tier-one bank, and that delivers performance and efficiency benefits to all the Finance team, and to the wider organisation. What you’ll be doing Maintaining and supporting the day-to-day management of the strategic regulatory reporting application across all environments, ensuring compliance with external regulations and internal policies Providing technical input to the Release Management process such that change is effectively managed and deployments appropriately prioritised and scheduled Provide support and guidance on your area of expertise to support successful delivery of each quarterly release Ensuring our key objective to ensure there are no regulatory reporting deadlines near misses resulting from system failure or error is met Support technical discussions, when assessing impact of new initiatives, work requests and the support of existing services. Support the Senior Technical Specialist in identifying emerging industry and technology trends, training needs and areas of risk.   We need you to have Knowledge of relevant systems, frameworks and technologies Understanding of large complex IT estates including system dependency’s Ability to troubleshoot issues and make recommendations for system changes as needed to resolve issues Communication and influencing skills to be able to effectively communicate complex requirements to colleagues with varying levels of technical knowledge and ensure requirements are delivered Ability to work independently and manage own time Ability to maintain good working relationships with various internal and external stakeholders   It’s a bonus if you have but not essential Experience in technical application management and support Knowledge of Finance, Regulatory and Treasury reporting and analytics platforms Experience of working with Databases and Servers, including Windows or RHEL OS platforms, with an understanding of patching processes and automation options Experience of working with Jira as a workflow tool Red Hot Rewards Generous holidays - 38.5 days annual leave (including bank holidays and prorated if part-time)​ plus the option to buy more.
