About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Senior eCommerce Trade Manager to take full ownership of the Amazon account for our rapidly growing FMCG business in the cosmetics sector. As the Senior eCommerce Trade Manager, you will be responsible for driving the performance and sales of our product portfolio on Amazon, focusing on optimizing Amazon’s algorithms, managing trade execution, and delivering results based on key eCommerce metrics. Role & Responsibilities: Own the Amazon account and be responsible for the day-to-day management and performance. Develop and execute a tailored Amazon strategy to drive sales growth, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and objectives. Utilise deep knowledge of Amazon’s algorithms to improve search rankings, keyword relevance, product listings, and conversion rates. Ensure that product listings (titles, descriptions, images, A content, Enhanced Brand Content) are optimised for search and conversions. Lead the pricing strategy and promotional campaigns, leveraging Amazon’s tools (e.g. Lightning Deals, Coupons, and Subscribe & Save to increase sales) Work closely with supply chain teams to ensure optimal inventory levels, forecasting demand, and preventing stockouts or overstocking on Amazon. Monitor, analyse, and report on Amazon-specific KPIs, using data to make informed decisions and improve performance. Partner with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth execution of strategies and alignment with business targets. Lead the Amazon advertising strategy using Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Display Ads to drive traffic and conversions. With the Digital Marketing Manager design and implement customer retention strategies to increase loyalty, retain business & drive sales. Contribute ideas to the Customer Acquisition Strategy as driven by the Digital Marketing Manager. Analyse site & product data, customer feedback and implement retention strategies Make suggestions to the business as to how we may improve our products or service to retain more customers Skills & Experience: Minimum 3-5 years managing Amazon accounts (Vendor Central or Seller Central) in the FMCG or cosmetics industry. In-depth understanding of Amazon’s A9/A10 algorithms, and experience optimizing listings, keywords, and content to improve search rankings. Strong experience with Amazon Advertising (PPC, Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands) and ability to optimize ad spend based on performance. Proficiency in using Amazon-specific analytics tools such as Amazon Brand Analytics, Helium 10, or Jungle Scout to track performance and identify growth opportunities. Experience negotiating terms with Amazon, managing annual agreements, and driving joint business plans (JBPs). Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and present data-driven strategies.
