General Assistant

General Assistant required to support an established Christian Charity, working part time, 14 hours a week. This position is paying £11.44 per hour, and will begin as a temporary assignment, with the view to become permanent. The centre is open 365 days of the year, and the role will include weekends and bank holidays. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to provide support to others in need. Applicants must be over the age of 25 with a clean manual driving licence for insurance purposes on to use the organisations mini bus. Duties: Provide a welcoming environment to visitors from around the world Ensure the centre is tidy Assist visitors with phone top-ups, data SIM's, connecting to the internet Serve beverages, snacks, merchandise, this will include servicing alcohol Collect visitors using the onsite mini bus Exchanging currencyBenefits: £11.44 per hour Parking availableExperience required: Posses a high level of customer service and communication skills Retail or hospitality experience is highly desirable Ability to organise a busy and varied workload, remain calm under pressure, and proactive in approach to tasks Ability to proactively work alone at timesPlease bear in mind that you may not hear from us straight away.
