Maintenance Person

Maintenance Person Needed *** This can be ongoing or temp to perm. More recruitment are working with a client based Aberdeen Kintore who is looking to recruit a Maintenance person to join their Accommodation department on a full time basis. This is a temp to perm position with you going permanent one week 13 if you and the client are happy. Pay: £12.35 per hour, overtime and Saturdays paid at time and half and Sundays are double time. Shifts: Monday - Friday 07:00 - 16:30 40 hours basic, rest will be overtime Job Role * Carrying out general maintenance and refurbishment of accommodation units, welfare units/vans. * to maintain and repair all accommodation and welfare units to a high standard, fitting sink units, internal partition kits, replace wall boards, minor plumbing and electrical work. * carrying out painting on accommodation units. * Cleaning of accommodation units/vans Desirable criteria * History in working within the site accommodation industry * fork truck license but not essential as training is provided * MPBA testing qualification but not essential as training can be arranged You roles will also include the below so you must be flexible. * Cleaning units * Prepping units internally / external * General yard cleaning * They also build canteens and partition walls. * Spray our units externally * Build stairs and steps Once permanent we would train he / she to do electrical training and forklifting if they would like to. Plus a lot more courses to improve/ progress further should the person wish to.
