The Company Established for more than 20 years, my client has quickly established themselves as one of the UK's leading suppliers of ventilation and extraction systems. Working with a range of businesses, ranging from hotels and independent restaurants, through to public sector clients (schools, colleges, care homes etc.) as well as many major high street food chains. Due to continued growth and an impressive order-book, they are now looking for an enthusiastic Estimator to join an established team and grow with the business. Key Responsibilities: Organising project documents and producing commercial quotations using our advanced software. Producing calculations under HVCA DW/172 regulation. Contacting customers and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution. Keeping up to date with legislation and regulation changes. Providing excellent customer service, both internally and externally. Answering incoming calls in a professional manner. Acquiring relevant information for incoming leads.Future Responsibilities and Progression: Attending sites occasionally to undertake site surveys. Designing systems and producing 2D AutoCAD drawings. Managing ongoing projects to ensure timely and successful completion. Arranging deliveries & collections and ordering materials.The Person In order to be considered you'll need a few things in your locker: Experience within a similar Estimator position Proven ability to manage more than one project at a time Exposure to HVAC or similar would be extremely advantageous Good AutoCAD skills and the ability to create designs Exposure to Site Surveys and site visits would also be good to have Proven ability to work with internal and external stakeholders (colleagues and customers) Good numerical skills, along with solid interpersonal skills and the ability to speak confidently with all levels of stakeholder.
