Multi Trade Operative

My client is a leading new homes developer known for delivering high-quality residential developments across the Suffolk region. We are looking for a skilled and versatile Multi Trader to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our construction and customer care teams by carrying out various repair and maintenance tasks across our developments. This role is crucial in ensuring that homes are finished to the highest standards, enhancing customer satisfaction post-completion. Role Overview: As a Multi Trader, you will be responsible for providing a range of general repairs and maintenance services across our new homes developments. You will work closely with site managers, customer care teams, and homeowners to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard. This is a hands-on role that requires a broad skill set and a strong customer focus. Key Responsibilities: * General Maintenance & Repairs: Carry out a wide variety of trade tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, painting, tiling, and general handyman duties. * Finishing Works: Ensure homes are completed to a high standard, taking care of final touches before handover to homeowners. * Customer Care Support: Attend to post-completion issues reported by homeowners, ensuring all repairs are addressed promptly and professionally. * Site Coordination: Work alongside site managers and customer care teams to prioritize tasks and respond to maintenance requests across multiple developments. * Health & Safety: Follow all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others. * Quality Control: Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standard, meeting both the company’s and the homeowner’s expectations. * Problem Solving: Identify issues, offer solutions, and carry out effective repairs with minimal disruption to homeowners. Key Requirements: * Proven experience as a multi-trader or handyman, ideally within the residential construction or new homes sector. * Proficiency in a variety of trades, including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, painting, and tiling. * Ability to diagnose issues and carry out effective repairs. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship. * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. * Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach. * Full UK driving license (may be required for travel between sites). * Understanding of health and safety regulations.
