Our leading education recruitment agency is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a thriving secondary school in the Doncaster area. Role Overview: As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students' learning, ensuring they make progress in line with their educational goals. You will be assisting in various subjects, providing one-on-one support to students who require extra help, and contributing to a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere. This is a full-time role, starting immediately, with the potential for long-term placement. Key Responsibilities: Supporting students in their academic, social, and emotional development. Assisting teachers with lesson planning, classroom preparation, and resource organization. Providing one-to-one or small group support to students who may need additional assistance. Encouraging student engagement and participation in classroom activities. Assisting with behavior management and maintaining a positive learning environment. Collaborating with teaching staff to monitor student progress and provide feedback. Candidate Requirements: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a secondary school setting. A passion for education and supporting student development. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive, flexible, and positive attitude. Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3) are advantageous but not essential. A valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one). What We Offer: Competitive salary, paid weekly.
