We are seeking a highly organized and technically skilled Robotics Lab Manager to oversee the daily operations of our robotics lab. This role is crucial for maintaining the lab’s efficiency and safety, facilitating experiments with real robots, managing data collection for imitation learning, and ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in robotics and lab management, with a focus on supporting experimental workflows and managing the lab’s resources effectively Responsibilities - Conduct the daily operations of the robotics lab, ensuring a well-maintained and organized environment. - Facilitate and assist in experiments with real robots, coordinating with engineers and researchers to execute test plans. - Manage the data collection process for imitation learning, ensuring high-quality data is captured and appropriately stored. - Maintain an accurate inventory of lab equipment, tools, and consumables, and ensure timely procurement of necessary supplies. - Develop and enforce safety protocols and best practices for lab operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to schedule and prioritize lab activities, optimizing the use of lab resources. - Troubleshoot and maintain robotic systems and other lab equipment to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation. - Support the development and implementation of new lab procedures and protocols to improve efficiency and safety Expertise - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - Hands-on experience with robotics, particularly in a lab or research environment. - Strong organizational and project management skills. - Experience with data collection and management, particularly for machine learning or robotics applications. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++ is a plus. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with inventory management and procurement processes. - Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in a laboratory environment. - Passion for robotics and a desire to contribute to the advancement of humanoid robot technology Benefits - High competitive salary. - 23 calendar days of vacation per year. - Flexible working hours. - Opportunity to work on the latest technologies in AI/ML, Robotics and others. - Startup model, offering a dynamic and innovative work environment
