Job Requirements / Description
My client, a well-established and reputable organisation in the fire safety sector, is seeking a dedicated Fire Risk Assessor to join their expanding team. Ideally, candidates will have Tier 2 accreditation. You will be responsible for conducting fire risk assessments in line with current regulations and providing expert advice to ensure clients meet their legal obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct fire safety risk assessments in accordance with current fire safety regulations
Provide clear, concise recommendations for remedial actions
Produce comprehensive fire safety reports
Liaise with clients and stakeholders to schedule assessments and discuss findings
Offer fire safety advice and guidance to help clients comply with legal requirements
Conduct fire safety training sessions for clients and their employees
Stay up to date with changes in fire safety legislation and industry best practices
Attend client meetings as required
Key Requirements:
Relevant degree or qualification in Fire Engineering or Fire Safety
Proven experience conducting fire risk assessments
Familiarity with fire safety assessment applications such as Riskbase
Strong knowledge of current fire safety regulations and legislation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proactive approach and commitment to achieving objectives
Full driving license required (as the role involves travel to various locations)
