𝗖𝗛𝗣 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 📍 YORKSHIRE BASED HB Recruit are looking for Combined Heat & Power (CHP) service & maintenance engineer. This exciting role is one of the markets fastest growing service providers and will be ideally suited to a hands proactive engineer. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years experience in the field working on CHP and gas generators from 30kWe to 2.5MW. The candidate must be able and confident working independently and be able to problem solve and troubleshoot. 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 & 𝗗𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀: • To report directly to the senior engineer and liaise with the Operation & Maintenance administrator • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance of a range of gaseous fuelled CHP sets • Take ownership of the sites and ensure exceptional customer service on every visit • Ensure safe working practices are followed and promoted at all times. Constantly reviewing existing practices and identifying opportunities for improvement • Ensure all remedial works are planned via the Operation & Maintenance administrator • Complete detailed work reports • Manage stock levels and ensure all parts are ordered in a timely manner • Look for opportunities to expand our fleet of CHP units and bring in new work 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲/𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀: • Trained in IOSH working safely • CHP commissioning experience. • Experience working with ComAp controllers 𝗘𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲/𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀: • Must have at least 2 years’ experience working hands on within the CHP or gas generator industry whether as a service or commissioning engineer and be comfortable working unaided on gas engines up to 2.5MWe. • Must hold COCN1 & CGFE1 gas safe qualifications. • Must hold a recognised qualification in either electrical or mechanical engineering e.g HNC, NVQ, C&G, craft apprenticeship. • Must hold a UK manual driving license • Must be able to demonstrate basic IT skills (excel, word, outlook etc.) 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗲 💰 • £45,000 to£50,000 per annum (subject to experience) • Company van, fuel card, laptop, smart phone, uniform and specialist tooling • Company pension scheme (5%) • Regular training and career development • 25 days paid holiday per annum + bank holidays • Opportunity to work additional weekend days at the discretion of the management • £10 daily lunch allowance • £10 breakfast allowance (if starting before 6am) • Future Development: Opportunity undertake training considered beneficial to the you and the business.
