Are you a skilled and ambitious planning professional looking for an exciting opportunity to advance your career? Our client is a leading property and planning consultancy, who are seeking an Associate Town Planner or an Associate Town Planning Director to join a dynamic team in Manchester.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct and manage various planning activities.
Oversee day-to-day project management, including planning, reviews, WiP/invoicing, and debt management.
Ensure projects meet client requirements and deadlines in line with the QA system.
Maintain quality control of project outputs, including preparing project plans and fee agreements.
Contribute to business development, including work winning and marketing initiatives.
Manage client relationships, supporting the Partner in client management.
Confidently and professionally represent clients at public meetings.
Produce high-quality professional reports.
Manage immediate staff, including timesheets, holidays, CPD, and training.
Supervise and foster the development of junior staff members.
Stay current with technical knowledge and expertise in town planning.
Maintain professional membership with the Royal Town Planning Institute.
Engage in continuous professional development through training courses, internal CPD sessions, and wider reading.
