What You'll Do
Patient-Centered Care: Conduct assessments, create tailored treatment plans, and deliver interventions that support patients in achieving their goals.
Empowerment and Advocacy: Promote patient choice, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are prioritized.
Team Collaboration: Partner with health and social care professionals to ensure holistic, seamless care.
Resource Management: Ensure all necessary equipment is available and maintained to deliver optimal patient care.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, professional records that meet industry standards.
Team Contribution: Share your knowledge, contribute to a positive workplace culture, and work collaboratively to support continuous improvement.
About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
Qualifications: Diploma or BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy, registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Clinical Expertise: Strong skills in OT assessments and interventions, backed by excellent clinical reasoning.
Self-Motivation: Confident in working independently, setting priorities, and managing risks.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong, trusting relationships with patients and colleagues.
Tech-Savviness: Proficient with IT systems and aware of relevant legislation in the healthcare space.
Bonus: Experience in a relevant setting such as neurorehabilitation or brain injury care.
