ML Lead

Title: Machine Learning Lead Type: Permanent Location: Remote We're working with a rapidly growing SaaS company leveraging cutting-edge ML and AI. Responsibilities Model Development: Design, train, and implement cutting-edge machine learning models for NLP tasks, including LLMs, to achieve state-of-the-art performance. Model Optimisation: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in NLP models, ensuring optimal efficiency and accuracy. Process Improvement: Continuously refine data science processes, including model architectures, data sources, and evaluation methodologies, to enhance overall performance. Monitoring and Evaluation: Develop robust systems and tools to monitor model performance, analyse data accuracy, and identify areas for improvement. Requirements Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Senior or Lead Data Scientist in NLP projects, with a focus on conversational AI. Deep understanding of transformer architectures and fine-tuning techniques for NLP tasks. Experience with named entity recognition, information extraction, and other NLU tasks relevant to conversational applications. Strong understanding of business needs and the ability to translate them into effective NLP solutions. Experience with large-scale language model training and deployment. Knowledge of domain-specific NLP applications (e.g., question answering, summarisation, machine translation).
