Parking Permit Officer Tower Hamlets £19 per hour (umbrella) Full Time Contract (4 Months) Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Parking Permit Officer in Tower Hamlets. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours. The job: To be responsible for correctly processing applications for parking permits submitted by post and via the Web To be responsible for providing sound specialist advice on any aspect of the organisation's parking permit schemes to Members, senior managers, customers and colleagues To undertake all aspects of permit administration, assessing and processing permit applications and taking decisions on their validity, exercising discretion where necessary To be responsible for accurately receipting payments, dealing with payment enquiries, reconciling and balancing at the end of the day and ensuring all financial procedures relating to permit issue and payments are adhered to To contribute to the overall development of Parking & Mobility Services within the organisationThe candidate: Previous experience working with parking permits is essential Administrative expeirence is essential Previous experience working for local authorities is desirablePlease submit your application via the contact details provided and you will be contacted with further information about this opportunity or email your CV to me directly; or call me on; (phone number removed)
