ROLE OVERVIEW We are currently looking for a Junior Interior Designer to join our company to support our Senior Designers in developing our current pipeline. We are looking for bright achievers with a natural flare for interior design. As a potential future member of the team, you will tap into your boundless creativity to design multiple unique ultra-luxury residential projects, providing design support for completion and execution, working on all project design stages. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Measuring up of properties to aid in creating accurate floor plans, technical drawings, elevations etc. Collaborate closely with clients to understand their brand identity, vision, and business goals. Creating of 2D AutoCAD plans, from floorplans, electrical layouts and other technical drawings, and design elevations, etc. Creating 3D renders of designs to guide and inspire both clients and on-site teams Read detailed plans to ensure correct amounts of materials are accounted for Support with product sourcing and taking full ownership of sourcing micro-areas of a development i.e. bathrooms, kitchens etc. Ensuring schedules of furniture and finishes are kept up to date on our client/contractor facing software like Programma Keep floor plans, technical drawings and other essential documents well organised for each project on our client/contractor facing software like Programma Perform administrative duties such as procurement of finishes, materials, and furniture Ensure that all ordered items arrive within the timeframes required and assist in ensuring the items reach the appropriate sites when contractors require them. Ensure that projects are executed within budget and on schedule, collaborating with the project management and construction teams. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices. Play a key role in business development by fostering client relationships and identifying new opportunities, oversee the works onsite and resolve ad-hoc queries from the contractors. Organised with good time-management and project-juggling skills Regular client site visits to track project progress WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR Ideally have an undergraduate degree in Interior Design or similar. Basic knowledge of Auto CAD. Ideally have experience in basic 3D rendering – preferably Sketch Up and Enscape Have experience in creating spreadsheets and knowing the basics of Excel. Well organised. Ability to professionally communicate with external stakeholders. Have an interest in architecture/real estate/property.
