Electrical Estimator

We are currently seeking an Electrical Estimator to be based in Leeds on a 3 month+ contract

Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to understand the scope of work
• Research and prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor services including any transport requirements
• Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors
• Assess risk levels associated with the project
• Monitor costs at all stages of the project to ensure estimates are accurate
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for estimating
• Analyse blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labour estimates
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
• Present estimates to management and clients in a clear and detailed manner
• Maintain records of estimated and actual costs

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Proficient in cost control methods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations
