Software Development Engineer - ACI Payment Systems Base24 £600 p/d Inside 10-month contract Hybrid - 1 day in the London office Responsibilities As a Software Development Engineer, you will: Develop & Test: Analyze, design, code, and test multiple application components for one or more clients. Enhance & Maintain: Perform maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work. Lead & Advise: Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with the ability to influence team decisions. You will engage with various teams, providing strategic advice and technical solutions that benefit multiple areas. Required Expertise Proficiency in ACI Payment Systems Base24-Classic : Extensive experience and expert-level proficiency required. Software Development Skills : Advanced skills in Design & Build Enablement Object-Oriented Application Design & Development Test Execution and Management Technical Skills and Knowledge HP Nonstop Architecture : Familiarity with architecture, scalability, and fault tolerance. Base24 System Configuration : Configuration of requester/server applications Hierarchical database file structures and Enscribe file management Transaction monitoring (rollback, record locking), event monitoring, and diagnostics Base24 transaction auditing, institution configuration, and control of CPF, IDF, PBF files Knowledge of PSD2, ApplePay, Tokenization, and ATM configuration files ISO8583 (Visa/Link), STM, PSTM, Tokens Tools & Utilities : File utility program for maintaining, accessing, and securing Enscribe files Debugging tools for real-time compiled code Security control measures System Design : Ability to design a B24 system for ATM and Switch transactions, including message flows Source file repository control, adhering to change standards Detailed plan creation for production implementations
