Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant Primary Mainstream School - Slough ASAP Start - KS1 and KS2 GRADUATES WANTED Experience working with children required Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs? Do you want to gain hands-on experience working with students who have Complex Learning Needs? Are you aspiring to become a Therapist or Psychologist and seeking valuable experience in the field beforehand? An excellent Primary school in Slough is currently recruiting for a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join them ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or experienced teaching assistant to develop their experience with Special Educational Needs and Behavioural Needs. A graduate with a 2:2 or above is ideal for this role and some previous experience working with SEN children is desirable. The position will be working 1:1 with pupils with Special Needs and Challenging Behaviour in the school. The Learning Support Assistant will have the opportunity to work closely with children who have mental health difficulties, display challenging behaviour and have learning disabilities such as Autism. The primary school is near to Slough train station and parking is available on site. This Primary school are looking for a confident, dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants who are enthusiastic and passionate about their input into a child's education. Ideally, the successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have excellent behaviour management skills and desirably some form of restraint training. Role: Behavioural Support Teaching Assistant Start: Immediate Maidenhead £83 - £95 per day (dependent upon experience, training, qualifications & client rate available) Long-term temporary position with opportunity for permanent Full-Time: Mon-Fri 8.30 am - 3.30 pm Experience desired but not essentialThis is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to expand their classroom experience prior to undertaking their teaching training and becoming a fully qualified classroom teacher.
