Production Operative Start Date: ASAP Location: Sutton, Ely Hours: Double Days, Rotating Shift Patterns below Week 1. Monday to Thursday 06.00am - 2.00pm, Friday 05.00am - 12.00 Week 2. Monday to Thursday 2.00pm - 10.00pm, Friday 12.00pm - 7.00pm Pay Rate: £11.44 p/h Duration: Temporary We are looking for a motivated, reliable and hard- working Production/ Warehouse Operative to join our client’s team in Sutton, Ely. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment, working on rotating shift patterns. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production processes, maintaining high standards of quality, health and safety, and collaborating with your team to meet daily targets. If you’re proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to work in a dynamic setting, this role is for you! Key Responsibilities: * Maintain high standards of Health and Safety, hygiene, and housekeeping. * Interpret and execute instructions from relevant specification sheets. * Coordinate with departments to ensure adequate material quantities. * Collaborate with the crew to efficiently set up jobs. * Stack and prepare pallets for optimal palletisation presentation. * Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks promptly and to a high standard. * Assess manual handling and suggest improvements to the Machine Operator. * Immediately report mechanical issues to the Machine Operator. * Optimize resource use to reduce costs and minimize waste. * Provide and implement basic solutions to uphold product quality and operational efficiency. * Propose ideas to enhance customer service levels and reduce costs. * Maintain a positive and proactive attitude.
