Join our well established client, based locally in Aldershot, Hampshire! You will be part of a close knit, supportive and diverse team of talented individuals, ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. Working within the maintenance team you will be carrying out planned maintenance.
About the Role:
As a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical), you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical systems and equipment on-site. Your expertise will help minimise downtime and ensure that the production processes are safe and effective.
Your varied role will include:
* Ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment
* Fault find problems by observing machinery in operation
* React to production breakdowns quickly
* Assist other departments when required to ensure Production requirements are met
* Using Mechanical and electrical knowledge
* Fabricate repair parts
* Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment maintenance
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
* Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities
* Trouble shooting skills and problem solving
* Able to work in selected teams and coordinate solutions
* Good analytic, planning and organisational skills
* Strong interpersonal and communications skills English oral & written
