We are looking for a Design Administrator will support the fast-paced fashion and graphic design team. By using skills in Adobe illustrator and Photoshop, the Design Administrator is responsible for creating accurate artwork for the supplier’s guidance (artwork packs) and raising samples. The Design administrator must have an up-to-date awareness of current and forecasted fashion trends and the ability to apply their knowledge in creating cohesive trend presentations. Experienced in creating presentations , the Design Administrator would apply their skills, flexibility, and have keen eye for detail to support the design team.
Key tasks include:
Produce accurate artwork (print set-ups) for prints, embroideries, packaging, branding tools and other effects. This will clearly detail the exact appearance and nature of the application including dimensions and colours, for the supplier’s guidance.
To liaise with factories and suppliers to ensure artwork is well-received, understood and interpreted correctly.
Raise sample requests.
Organise garment designs into the necessary format required for approval by the licensor, with the relevant style, print and colour references.
Maintain an awareness of current and forecasted fashion and clothing trends and create trend presentations.
To create cohesive and clear comp shop reports.
To assist in arranging relevant designs into presentations for sales purposes.
To make necessary changes to existing designs in accordance with customer’s brief.
The Design Administrator will have a degree in a fashion/graphics related subject or equivalent experience, and a basic understanding of clothing construction and garment print applications / embellishments.
