Job Title: Industrial Electrician - Steelworks (Temporary) Location: [Port Talbot] Contract Duration: 2 Months Hours: 38 hours per week Pay Rate: £25 per hour Start Date: Monday, 28th October 2024 We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team for a 2-month project on steelworks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in an industrial environment, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities: * Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in a steelwork setting. * Work with control systems, motors, and heavy machinery. * Ensure all work complies with safety standards and codes. * Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform preventative maintenance. * Collaborate with other team members and trades to meet project deadlines. Requirements: * Experience: Proven track record as an industrial electrician, preferably with experience in steelworks or heavy industry. * Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent, ECS/JIB card preferred. * Skills: Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, electrical schematics, and safety regulations. * Availability: Able to start on Monday, 28th October and commit for the full 2-month duration.
