Job description Hewer Facilities Management Ltd (Hewer) are looking for a domestic gas engineer to join our engineering team based in High Wycombe & Oxford. This role will consist of servicing and repairs to the central heating system. We offer a challenging but rewarding work environment and we will provide all the necessary training, uniform, PPE and materials to enable the successful candidate to settle in quickly and feel comfortable conducting the required roles. A company van will be provided with a company fuel card. Working alongside other experienced engineers, contracts managers and technical supervisors. Key Responsibilities include: Carry out service and maintenance work on a variety of domestic boilers and heating systems in military homes across the region. Ensuring high levels of customer care in dealing with families to meet the required quality standards and KPI’s. Communicate updates and progress of work to the scheduling teams, completing the required paperwork electronically and manually for PPM’s and reactive breakdowns. Ensure all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records, are adhered to during daily work. Comply with van stock and reactive repair parts ordering processes, ensuring relevant parts are available to fulfil job requirements and to ensure a first-time fix rate is maintained. Who are we? Requirements All gas engineers are required to hold full ACS qualifications including Cookers & Fires (qualifications must be in date for the full three-month period) and you must live in or around or within commutable distance of the desired area. Required: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1. Desired but not essential: DHWS Unvented (G3), Oil & LPG. Job role information Standard hours, Mon - Friday 08:00 - 17:00 Additional overtime is available!
