Primary School Teacher – Year 1 (Maternity Cover)
Location: Rochester, Kent Contract: January to July 2024 (Fixed-term, Maternity Cover) Salary: Main Pay Scale
An excellent primary school in Rochester is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a maternity cover basis from January through to July. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive school environment, delivering the Key Stage 1 curriculum and fostering a positive learning atmosphere for young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored for Year 1 students Create a welcoming, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to support student development Candidate Requirements:
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Previous experience teaching Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1 Strong organizational skills and a passion for early childhood education If you’re an adaptable, motivated teacher eager to make an impact in a new role, we’d love to hear from you!
