Live Service QA Lead | Up to £65k | Immersive Entertainment / Games | Remote (must be UK based)
We are delighted to be recruiting a Live Service QA Lead for a scaling entertainment studio in London. There is so much scope for growth and they are currently expanding the quantity and diversity of content for their new platform and building out the tools for user generated content.
We are seeking a Live Service QA Lead to evangelise their QA efforts, driving excellence in both automated and risk-based testing.
Lead and direct the QA team of 3, ensuring focus on high-priority tasks.
Promote a ‘shift left’ testing mindset across the entire team.
Plan and advance the automated testing efforts, including technical support and test maintenance.
Assess risk profiles for features and guide deployment strategies with the Live Ops team.
Implement risk-based testing to tailor testing efforts for new features and releases.
Train and mentor, the QA team in modern testing methodologies.
Oversee testing for the streaming service project, coordinating with both internal and external teams.
Use data to methodically identify and prioritize live issues.
Extensive experience in a Senior QA role or higher, working on large-scale live services, apps, or games.
Strong background in Agile testing practices.
Proven experience in building and maintaining automated tests for live services.
Expertise in risk-based testing approaches.
Hands-on, when necessary, with a preference for directing and coaching.
Ability to mentor QA team members across different experience levels.
Bonus Requirements:
Experience with live mobile games.
Previous experience as a Senior QA or higher.
Experience working with outsourced QA vendors.
