We are delighted to be partnering with a property business based in Newmarket as they seek to recruit an Accountant to join their business. Within this role, you will report into the Business Director. This role is a part time opportunity for 22.5 hours a week, with the hours being able to be worked between Tuesday-Friday. Due to the nature of the role, this position will be office based.
As the incoming Accountant, you will lead on the day to day running of the accounts for the business. Within the role you will be tasked with the following duties, including: - Processing invoices - Payroll preparation - Bank reconciliations - Client account reconciliation - Petty cash - Corporation tax - Preparing accounts
As the successful candidate for this role, you will have similar experience working in a standalone accounts role, with excellent knowledge of accountancy process and procedures. You will also ideally have experience of using Xero. Experience working in the property management industry would be considered desirable. Other attributes you will display include: - Excellent communication skills - Organised in your working approach - Strong excel skills - Ability to work to deadlines
