AWE is currently recruiting for 2 .Net Developers for the Enterprise Applications Group
You will play a key role in supporting and delivering our suite of business applications, integrations, and infrastructure using .NET, Azure, and Vue. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about software development and wants to broaden their skillset into the DevOps space.
The Role:
Design, build, and modify high-quality software solutions to meet business requirements.
Utilize your .NET/C# expertise to develop and deploy applications within Azure.
Leverage your understanding of Azure services, including App Services, Function Apps, and Logic Apps.
Work within a CI/CD environment, integrating and deploying .NET applications via Azure DevOps.
Collaborate with the team to ensure software quality through code reviews and adherence to development standards.
Contribute to the ongoing maintenance and support of existing applications and integrations.
Embrace a proactive approach to problem-solving, debugging complex issues, and optimizing application performance.
Stay current with the latest Azure and DevOps tools and technologies.
Who are we looking for?
We do need you to have the following:
Knowledge of Vue.js 3 or similar reactive UI frameworks.
Solid foundation in .NET/C# development, with experience in .NET 5+ (RESTful APIs, Entity Framework).
Practical experience with Azure DevOps Services (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, Test Plans).
Experience in building and deploying applications using Azure App Services.
Whilst not to be considered a tick list, we'd like you to have experience in some of the following:
Understanding of IIS configuration and management.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using PowerShell, Bicep, or ARM.
Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Event Viewer.
Exposure to Agile methodologies.
Familiarity with Azure cloud fundamentals, including ARM templates and Azure CLI.
You'll need to have the ability to work calmly and constructively in a priority changing environment and be able to manage your own workload. You will also have initiative, enthusiasm, a flexible approach, and ability to work to tight deadlines.

Hybrid working is available for this role on an informal, non-contractual basis. Typically 1-2 days onsite per week.
