Family Solutions Senior Social Worker Oxfordshire County Council are looking to expand their current team. The Family Solutions team is looking for an Senior Social Worker to join a well-structured and organised team. This Family Solutions Senior Social Worker role will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance. Family Solutions Senior Social Worker Responsibilities Include: Ability to support Social Workers to undertake complex social work assessments Experience of formulating support, protection and care plans Ability to negotiate with colleagues and partner agencies to resolve differences of opinion Ability to build effective, long lasting relationships with a range of service providers both from statutory and voluntary agencies Detailed knowledge of the Children's Act 1989 Detailed knowledge of the "Framework for the Assessment of Children and Their Families" Attending court and giving evidence when required Initiating and implementing child protection plans Managing packages of care Undertaking parenting and risk assessments Requirements / Experience preferred: Post qualifying experience of working as a Integrated Pathways Social Worker within the UK Social Care industry. HCPC Registration 1-2 years post qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you) Eligibility to work in the UK.
