CAD Designer

Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Senior CAD Designer to be engaged on a staff basis and located in Barrow.

What you'll be doing:

• Working on the design and production of the 3D model.
• Producing 2D drawing outputs to support the manufacturing and production teams in product build and delivery.
• Collaborating as a team, sharing best practice and improving our product and design.

Your skills and experiences:

• Previous experience within a design role with a background from a high hazard industry such as Civil, Structures, Marine, Oil & Gas Environment / background.
• Ability to use CAD Packages, particularly FORAN, NX and / or Solidworks.
• Knowledge of techniques, processes and tools for large scale detailed designs of platforms, assemblies, systems and equipment installation.
