Class 1 - Pallet network

About the Opportunity: We're recruiting on behalf of a leading transport and logistics company known for their exceptional service within the pallet network sector. They are seeking reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to support their growing operations. This role offers the chance to work with a reputable team focused on safety, timely deliveries, and customer satisfaction. Role Overview: As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of palletized goods, ensuring that customer expectations are met while upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance. You'll work directly with clients, representing the company professionally and contributing to its outstanding service reputation. Key Responsibilities: - Transport and deliver palletized goods accurately and efficiently across designated routes. - Adhere to Driving Regulations and company policies, ensuring compliance with all transport and safety standards. - Conduct Vehicle Inspections before and after shifts, identifying and reporting any maintenance needs. - Maintain Accurate Records of delivery logs, time-sheets, and any required documentation. - Communicate Effectively with the dispatch team, reporting any issues or delays to facilitate efficient solutions. - Provide Professional Service to customers, maintaining a courteous attitude and ensuring customer satisfaction. Candidate Requirements: - HGV Class 1 (C+E) License with no more than 3 penalty points. - Valid Driver CPC and Tachograph Card (up to date). - Previous experience in the Pallet Network or a similar logistics/transport setting is preferred. - Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and vehicle maintenance basics. - Excellent time management and organisational skills. - Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
