Key Responsibilities:
* 🧑🏫 Provide one-on-one and small group support for students with SEMH needs, fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.
* 🌍 Work closely with students to encourage engagement, positive behaviour, and resilience in the classroom.
* 📝 Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to implement personalised learning strategies.
* 🤝 Build strong, trusting relationships with students, supporting their social and emotional development and promoting positive coping skills.
* 📚 Guide students in developing effective learning habits and social skills, and assist with both academic and personal goals.
* 🌟 Track and report on student progress, communicating regularly with teachers, parents, and support staff.
What We’re Looking For:
* 🎓 Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH or SEN needs is highly desirable.
* 🌟 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient approach.
* 💡 Proficiency in managing challenging behaviours in a structured and supportive way.
