Business Development Manager – Interior Design
Job Title: Business Development Manager – Interior Design
Industry Sector: Furniture Retailer, Furniture Showroom, Interior Design, Property Developers, Furniture, Lighting, Curtains, Flooring, Interior Design Services, Retailers, Bed rooms, Bedroom Furniture, High Net-Worth Individuals, CAD Software, Buyers, Buyer, Business Development, Sales Manager
Area to be covered: West Midlands (3days in Birmingham showroom)
Remuneration: £45,000 + £20,000 commission
Benefits: negotiable car allowance & benefits package
The role of the Business Development Manager – Interior Design will involve:
* Business Development Manager role promoting furnishing and interior design solutions
* Including furniture, lighting and accessories
* Majority of your rime will be spent selling to and influencing interior designers, property developers, small independent and HNWIs
* Getting involved with the buying team and working closely with the Buying Director across 7 stores
* Target circa £350-£500k depending on experience
* Get involved with in-house design service using SketchUP 3D
* Regular contact and visits to central Birmingham showroom
* Attending trade shows
The ideal applicant will be an Business Development Manager – Interior Design with:
* Must have experience in the interior design market place
* Must be from a business development or sales focused position
* Experience in the buying sector advantageous
* Must have experience with design software; ideally SketchUP 3D
* Fire in the belly/ ability to open doors and “make things happen”
* Trustworthy, able to work autonomously
