Our client is a reputable main contractor known for our commitment to quality, safety, and innovation in the construction sector. We are currently embarking on an exciting new build industrial project and are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to join our dynamic team. Role Overview: As the Site Manager for our new build industrial project, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all on-site operations. You will be responsible for managing the construction process from inception to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities: Manage and supervise all site activities and personnel. Proven track record delivering new build steel frame industrial projects Plan and implement site logistics and construction schedules. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. Monitor project progress, performance, and compliance with health & safety regulations. Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments. Ensure that quality control standards are met throughout the project lifecycle. Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and the wider project team. Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly and effectively. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry, preferably with experience in industrial projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and quality control standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities. Relevant qualifications (e.g., degree in construction management, NVQ Level 6, SMSTS, First Aid).
