GSL Education are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a vibrant and dedicated school in Hull.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring students complete their assigned tasks and follow the lesson plans provided. You will maintain a positive learning environment, support students' work, and handle behaviour management. This role offers a great opportunity to gain experience in education and develop your classroom skills.

Responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor:

Leading Classes: overseeing students across various subjects, ensuring they remain engaged and on task. Delivering Assigned Work: managing pre-set lesson plans, offering instructions, and providing necessary guidance. Maintaining Classroom Discipline: creating a safe and conducive environment for learning. Supporting Students: answering questions, encouraging progress, and fostering a positive learning atmosphere. Requirements of the Cover Supervisor:

Experience working as a Cover Supervisor in classroom setting is desired. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Confidence in supervising and engaging with students. Ability to follow pre-set lesson plans and instructions. Flexibility and adaptability to cover various subjects. A passion for education and supporting students' learning progress Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one). Benefits:
