Fabricator Welder

Welder Fabricator - TIG Leamington Spa. £17 - £20 per hour DOE. Family Run Business. Day Shift Permanent Role. Kenton Black Group are currently recruiting for a Welder Fabricator - TIG for a Precision Engineering firm based in Warwick. Our client manufactures high quality components for various sectors. Welder Fabricator - TIG - The Role: The main focus for this position is stainless steel TIG welding Read drawings Create cutting lists from manufacturer drawings Identify parts on parts list Debur, drill, fold, roll, weld and grind and polish to a very high standard. Purge welding processes (not essential) Food/dairy processing pipework Shift Pattern: Monday-Thursday 07:00 – 16:00 & Friday 07:00 – 12:00 39 hours per week. (Opportunity for overtime) Holiday: 24 days plus bank holidays Benefits: Company events, On-site parking Welder Fabricator - TIG - Skill Requirements: Very experienced and skilled TIG welder who can deal with bespoke and one off fabrications. A basic knowledge of MIG welding. Ideally you should have at least 10 years experience and be competent with stainless steel box section frameworks. Experience with the manufacture of Tooling Trolleys for the Food and Pharmaceutical industries and Stainless Steel water tanks would be highly advantageous. Be capable of TIG welding stainless steel and steel. Experience with aluminium would be advantageous. Be skilled in operating a press brake, sheet metal guillotine, sheet metal rolls, drill press etc. High attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team, carrying out multiple procedures. Experience with training and supervising junior engineers (preferable). Apprentice trained (preferable).
