We are collaborating with a top-tier IT consultancy in search of a Cloud Platform Engineer for a permanent position. This role is remote with occasional travel Salary - up to £55,000 per annum Candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be part of our Cloud Advisory capability within the wider Business Technology capability unit. Our cloud advisory capability aims to inspire, lead and support organisations on their journey of adopting cloud for creating business and revenue models, generating growth, ensuring regulatory compliance, and reducing their carbon footprint. In your role as a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will drive cloud platform engineering initiatives that enable the adoption, acceleration, and innovation of cloud solutions for our clients. This will involve: Assessing, defining, and implementing Kubernetes and OpenShift capabilities that enhance DevOps efficiency, delivering innovation, agility, cost optimization, and faster time to market. Adopting a comprehensive approach to modernizing the developer experience, focusing on key dimensions such as organization and culture, DevOps practices, processes, automation, and tooling. Architecting and designing scalable & resilient cloud infrastructure to ensure seamless deployment, management, and optimization of containerised applications. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement automation strategies, reduce operational complexity, and ensure continuous improvement across the platform. Guiding teams in leveraging cloud-native solutions and multi-cloud environments to meet evolving business and technical requirements, ensuring flexibility and future-proof architecture.
