In a nutshell, you will focus on building scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure to support real-time operations and data-driven products. What you'll be doing... You will design and maintain the Data Platform: Architecting, implementing, and managing a scalable data platform that serves both the product team and machine learning team. You will build and manage a robust relational database system that supports efficient storage, retrieval, and structuring of large-scale datasets. You will develop and maintain backend systems, ensuring that they are secure, reliable, and scalable to meet the platform's growing demands. You will collaborate with the machine learning team to design data stores optimized for feature extraction and data processing, ensuring seamless access to data. You will utilise AWS services to ensure cloud scalability, data storage, and compute optimization. What they are looking for... Experience designing and managing large-scale data platforms. Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL. Experience with NoSQL databases for handling unstructured data and scaling database operations. AWS knowledge. Solid understanding of data architectures, ETL pipelines, and database design principles. Experience with Python & Python libraries such as Pandas or Spark.
