Mid-level JavaScript Engineer UK £50,000 £70,000My client is a well-established data solutions provider dedicated to helping clients in a critical sector make informed decisions through advanced analytics and independent data. With recent funding, they are focused on modernising their technology stack and addressing the 40% of global emissions linked to their industry.The RoleWhile they are looking to bring on board two senior engineers, they are also seeking a mid-level engineer who can offer a fresh perspective and is eager to grow within a technically skilled organisation. You’ll work with cutting-edge technologies such as React and Node.Js in a cloud-native setting. The company primarily uses Azure, but they welcome candidates with around two years of experience in either Azure, AWS, or GCP. You will collaborate across various teams, assist with cloud migrations, and contribute to a dynamic team prioritising engineering excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop scalable frontend and backend solutions using JavaScript.Maintain and improve existing applications, including legacy systems (you don’t need prior experience with .NET Core; training will be provided).Work collaboratively across teams to deliver high-quality software and data solutions.Adhere to best practices in development, testing, and CI/CD.About YouProficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.3-4+ years of experience with React and Node.Js.At least 1 year of experience with Next.Js.Familiarity with CI/CD processes and cloud deployment.Excellent communication skills and a passion for tackling complex problems in a collaborative environment.BenefitsYou will receive private healthcare, enhanced pension contributions, flexible working arrangements, and more.
