Rare opportunity for an Electrical / Instrumentation Technician Engineer to work 12 hour shifts at a large heavy process engineering manufacturing site in north Birmingham.

Strong salary plus overtime, bonus and excellent career prospects. Annual hours shift system.

The Electrical / Instrumentation / Mechanical engineer will be part of a maintenance team that works together with Production as a flexible, competent, and multi-skilled unit. Using a hands-on approach to electrical, instrumentation and mechanical breakdowns and preventative maintenance issues across the site in a safe and competent manner.

Electrical / Instrumentation Shift Technician Requirements:

  • Minimum level HNC Electrical Qualifed
  • Electrical / Electronic
  • PLC Fault finding
  • Pressure / flow / level control loops
  • Instrumentation
  • 3 Phase control systems
  • Hydraulics
  • Mechanical, motor changed, pump changes, drive belts
  • Experienced gained from a fast paced heavy industry production environment
